The Chinese paid search market increased by 67% year on year in Q4 2010

"According to iResearch (in Chinese) the Chinese online search market reached RMB3.29 billion (US$499.4 million) in Q4 2010. The revenues represent a 66.8% year-over-year (YoY) increase and a 5.9% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase.

iResearch also reported that search advertising accounted for 31% of total advertising spending in Q4. Its share is basically unchanged QoQ but up almost 11.5% YoY."
